Athletes and Parents,
Monday, August 3rd is the official start of IHSAA Fall Sports practices. We want to thank everyone for their diligence and effort in getting us to this point and we ask for your continued help as we proceed in these unprecedented times.
Any HS athlete interested in participating in Fall Sports must get a green card from the athletic office before their first official day of practice. You may pick up your green card from 8:00 am-3:30 pm in the athletic office.
For those athletes that have been attending workouts, we have your IHSAA Physical and IHSAA Health History Questionnaire. You will need to make sure that your parent/guardian has completed the Athletic Portion of Power School Registration as well.
For those of you that have not attended any workouts, you will need the IHSAA Health History Questionnaire: IHSAA 2020-21 Health History Update and Consent and Release and have your parent/guardian complete the Athletic Portion of Power School Registration.
If you had a physical completed last school year as a HS or MS athlete, it is already on file, that will suffice. If you did not, you will need to get a new physical for this school year: 2020-21-IHSAA-Physical-Form1
Make sure you self screen your athlete prior to sending each day. If your athlete exhibits any symptoms, they need to stay home, contact school and coach and reference the following document from the Indiana State Department of Health that speaks to symptoms and returning: Covid-Parenting Screening (7-29-20)
We value the health and safety of our athletes and coaches and all athletes and coaches are required to wear a mask when entering the school and on school property. Masks may be removed during strenuous activity and if proper social distancing can take place during practices. You may want to have your athlete bring a zip lock bag to place mask in when doing activity. Athletes should also bring plenty of water and a towel.
