Yorktown High School Announces New Head Baseball Coach Yorktown High School is proud to announce the hiring of Patrick Moran as the next head coach of the Yorktown Tigers baseball program. Moran brings 30 years of experience as a collegiate player, instructor, and coach, including nearly a decade of high school coaching experience. That background gives him a deep understanding of what it takes to lead a successful high school program, from building a feeder system and supporting community-based leagues to engaging alumni and managing the operational and administrative side of coaching. Patrick stands out because of both his experience and his vision for the program. He brings a clear passion for helping young men grow and mature through the game, along with a strong commitment to developing student-athletes on and off the field. His track record reflects his words. Those who have worked with him in multiple settings consistently speak highly of his leadership, integrity, and ability to follow through on his vision. His experience is battle-tested, and he understands the wide-ranging demands that come with coaching at the high school level. Coach Moran stated “I am very excited to join the Yorktown Baseball community! I am looking forward to getting started with the boys as soon as possible.” Athletic Director Paul Heidenreich is excited to welcome Coach Moran into the Tiger community and stated “We are looking forward to the leadership, energy, and experience Coach Moran will bring to the program.” There will be a meet the coach night on Wednesday, August 12th from 7:00 to 8:00 pm in the high school library, enter door 6. Anyone from the community is invited to attend.
