Yorktown High School

The Yorktown Cross Country squads had themselves quite a day on Saturday! First off, In the Girl’s Race, the Tigers finished 15th in the 39 team field. Rylie Paskiewicz finished as the overall runner-up, and was followed by scorers Skye Hellis, Isla Morrison, Auden Turner, and Lexi Slaven. In the Boy’s race, the #9 Ranked Tigers made quite the statement in a race that included 4 other Top-10 ranked schools. The Tigers finished as the team Runner-Up behind #1 Ranked Columbus North, but finished ahead of #8 Westfield, #7 Noblesville, and #4 Center Grove. The fantastic team effort was led by Wyatt Turner, who finished 5th, and finished out by scorers Louie Pevler (21st), Thomas Loney (23rd), Logan Fulton (47th) and Cal Shanayda (54th).
