2025 IHSAA Girls Swimming & Diving Sectional Championships Location: Fishers High School Schedule: Thursday, February 6, 2025 6:00 PM – Swimming Preliminaries Saturday, February 8, 2025 9:00 AM – Diving Preliminaries 1:00 PM – Swimming & Diving Finals PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS Anderson, Elwood Community, Fishers, Frankton, Hamilton Heights, Hamilton Southeastern, Lapel, Marion, Mississinewa, Oak Hill, Pendleton Heights, Yorktown GENERAL INFORMATION -Spectators will be admitted one hour before the meet. -Admission is $7.00 per session, no all-session passes; Digital tickets available via EVENT LINK -Only rostered athletes, alternates, managers, and coaches are permitted on deck. -An athletic trainer will be available during the meet. -Concessions will be open throughout the event. MEET TIMELINE Thursday, February 6, 2025 4:00 PM – Pool opens for swimming & diving warm-ups 5:00 PM – Coaches meeting / Spectator gates open 5:50 PM – Competition pool cleared 5:55 PM – National Anthem 6:00 PM – Swimming preliminaries begin Saturday, February 8, 2025 7:00 AM – Pool opens for diving warm-ups 8:00 AM – Diving coaches meeting / Spectator gates open 8:50 AM – Diving boards cleared / Divers meet with officials 9:00 AM – Diving preliminaries begin TBD – Pool opens for swimming warm-ups (after diving semifinals) 12:00 PM – Swimming coaches meeting 12:50 PM – Competition pool cleared 12:55 PM – National Anthem 1:00 PM – Swimming & Diving consolations and finals begin TBD – Presentation of team trophy SCORING Events will be scored for 16 places according to the established point system. AWARDS Awards will be presented to the top 8 finishers in each event at the conclusion of the event by the host school. ADVANCEMENT Swimming: The first-place sectional winners in each event automatically qualify for the state finals. Any swimmer who equals or betters the state time standard during the consolation or championship finals at the sectional meet qualifies for the state finals. (Note: The state standard cannot be achieved by a swimmer competing as the first leg of a relay.) The next fastest swimmers across the state will qualify to bring the total number of state meet entrants to 32 per event. In the event of a tie for the 32nd position, all tied swimmers will advance to the state finals.
