The Varsity Tigers come away with another commanding win, this time without dropping a single game against Anderson - well done! Heavy winds is a good equalizer out on the courts, but that didn't stop the girls from dominating play and holding to perfect 6-0,6-0 victories at every spot. Junior Varsity also fought very well, dropping only two total games! Varsity: 1S - Jillian defeated Swain 0,0 2S - Hannah defeated Adams 0,0 3S - Alysse defeated Lopez 0,0 1D - Rhen/Isabelle defeated Brandsma/Strait 0,0 2D - Jules/Georgia defeated Short/Howells 0,0 Junior Varsity: 1S - Claire defeated Chmura 8-0 1D - Ryleigh/Emma defeated Reyes/Acosta 8-0 2D - Adrianna/Nicky defeated Clark/West 8-0 3D - Praise/Dejah defeated Jackson/Blair 8-2 We also had some Intrasquad matches this evening: Avery defeated Emilee 8-6 Lexi/Ana defeated Sophia/Caity 8-6 Sofia/Adrianna defeated Addison/Natalia 8-3 Avery was awarded Clown Fish, Adrianna was awarded Keychain Bear, and Claire was awarded Lego Hulk, all for solid play, great effort, and positive attitudes. Very awesome! We coaches are very impressed with the improvements across the board for our players, many of whom had never played a tennis match in their lives up until a couple of weeks ago. Well done! Plenty of work to be done, of course, so let's get back at it in practice, work hard, continue to learn and hustle!
