Tigers ended their wonderful season with a loss to Delta in round 1 of Sectionals this evening 0-5. Extremely proud of how well every single player competed, with nothing to lose and everything to gain! At 1S, Jillian was unfortunately not able to defend her regular season win against Bamidele due to a persistent 102 degree fever and bad chest cold all week, so Claire stepped up and played in her place. And Rhen was unable to compete as well, so Emma played with Isabelle at 2D this evening. Hannah played super well against a very aggressive Beckley, and Alysse played marvelously against Marshall and bested her previous meeting by one game. Delta doubles have traditionally been extremely solid, but Jules/Georgia and Isabelle/Emma fought well and had numerous close games that could have gone their way. 1S - Claire lost to Bamidele 0,1 2S - Hannah lost to Beckley 1,1 3S - Alysse lost to Marshall 2,2 1D - Jules/Georgia lost to Manor/Vest 0,0 2D - Isabelle/Emma lost to Bratton/Hinds 0,0 Tigers ended their season with an overall record of 13-6 and 4-3 in the HHC, far surpassing last season's record of 9-8 and 2-5 in the HHC.
