We are excited to offer a couple of youth basketball options for this winter season. The Tiger Basketball Academy (TiBA) is open to boys in K-5th grade. Additionally, we will have some travel teams for 2nd -6th graders. We will be playing in the Indiana Ball league hosted at several different high schools on Sunday afternoons. Most of our games will be at schools in our conference and we hope to host 1-2 times at Yorktown HS. There are 3 divisions our teams could play in and we hope to have 2-4 teams per grade. Any player wanting to try out for the Future Tigers Travel Teams will automatically be a part of the Tiger Basketball Academy, except for 6th graders. There will be additional costs for the Travel Team players. Registration for K-1st graders will open in October. Each player will get a reversible practice jersey and a basketball. The HS boys basketball players, coaches, and TiBA coaches will be involved in leading these skill sessions. PARENT MEETING all grades 3-3:20pm. 4th , 5th , 6th from 3:20-4:20pm. Location High School Main Gym. Door 16. League Details Each player will get a reversible jersey, 1 pair of uniform shorts, and a shooting shirt. 6th graders will use their middle school uniform if they make the team. Their cost will be reduced and they will not attend the skills academy. The league consists of a pre-season tourney Nov 16th & 23rd. League play Dec 7, 14, 21. Jan 11, 25. Feb 1, 8, 15. End of season tourney Feb 22, Mar 1. Payment options: by check, cash, or venmo at the tryout on Sept 28th.
