Congratulations to our boys' cross country team for winning their sectional this past weekend! They dominated, with the Tigers scoring 16 points and taking 6 of the top 7 overall finishers. Led by individual champ Wyatt Turner, individual runner-up Isaiah Loney, Thomas Loney (3rd), Louie Pevler (4th), Owen Lamb (6th), Cal Shanayda (7th), and Owen Fouts (17th). The girls finished 2nd in their sectional, and both teams will advance to the New Haven Regional this Saturday, October 25th. See below for regional information and ticketing. NEW HAVEN CROSS COUNTRY REGIONAL DATE: Saturday, October 25, 2025 TIME: 10:30 am – Boys’ Race 11:15 am – Girls’ Race PLACE: Huntington University Cross Country Course, 1151 W 500 N, Huntington, IN 46750 PARKING: Spectators will park in the grass fields on Crestview’s land or the grass fields owned by Parkview. We will have people directing parking for spectators. Spectators will be directed to parking spots either in Crestview’s main lot or in the field across from the parking lot. Please tell your parents and fans not to park in Parkview’s or the YMCA’s parking lots. Their vehicles may get towed at their own expense. ADMISSIONS: $10.00; Tickets may be purchased prior to the event via Eventlink. Cash option will be available on meet day. Use the link below: https://public.eventlink.com/tickets?t=98501&p=152230 Tickets will be accepted starting at 9:00 a.m. Plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before the race that they want to watch just in case of a line to get into the meet. No Dogs or pets should be brought to the meet unless they are a service animal. FACILITIES: Porta-Jons will be made available. TIME: 8:30 am Course and Check-in opens (boys and girls) SCHEDULE: 9:45 am Coaches meeting at the Finish Line 10:15 am National Anthem 10:15 am Course closes (only the girls are allowed on the course) 10:15 am Boys report to starting line 10:30 am Start Boys’ Race 11:00 am Girls report to the starting line 11:15 am Start Girls’ Race 12:00 pm Awards Ceremony at the awards platform CONCESSIONS: There will be food trucks on site. ADVANCEMENT: The first five (5) qualifying teams and the first fifteen (15) individuals that finish from non-advancing teams shall advance to the State Meet in Terre Haute. AWARDS: An awards ceremony will be held at the awards podium near the finish line (approximately 15-20 minutes after the last race has finished). the awards presentation.
