Fall Athlete Practice Schedules

Volleyball Ring Ceremony

The Yorktown Volleyball Team will have their ring ceremony and unveiling of their State Championship banner for winning the 3A Volleyball State Championship on Thursday, February 9th. The ceremony will take place at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game vs. Wes-Del which begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets to the basketball game are $5.00.  

Volleyball Team to be Recognized

Yorktown High School will be presented with the Army National Guard national ranking trophy as part of the 12th Annual MaxPreps Tour of Champions, which is in its seventh year honoring girls’ volleyball. Olivia Reed Mental Attitude Winner

Olivia Reed of Yorktown earns Mental Attitude Award At the conclusion of the state finals, the IHSAA Executive Committee, on behalf of Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, named Olivia Reed of Yorktown High School as the winner of the Class 3A Mental Attitude Award. Volleyball Team Claims State Title

Top-Ranked Yorktown Tops Providence for 3A Crown Providence had its eyes set on winning its fourth consecutive state championship, but Yorktown had  plans of its own with a 25-17, 21-25, 25-22, 25-22 victory in the Class 3A volleyball state championship. In the rematch of last year’s final, Yorktown secured its third volleyball crown (2000, 2011)
